Dovecote Farm Buttery

“The Buttery” is a wonderful barn conversion in a unique setting in the Northamptonshire countryside. Decorated in the New England style, the restaurant has an informal, relaxed atmosphere, in keeping with our rural location. It’s the ideal place to meet up with friends, hold a business lunch or enjoy Sunday lunch with the family.

Since it first opened, the Buttery has proved its appeal to all age groups – young people looking for an out-of-town meeting place, young families wanting a fun day out in the fresh air, and older people enjoying their retirement. Why not come and discover the Dovecote Buttery for yourself?

During the summer months, the restaurant opens its doors onto a outdoor eating area within a beautiful lawned garden.

Our restaurant is family-friendly and we offer a special children’s menu to satisfy small, but hungry appetites. A children’s play area, complete with swings, slides and picnic benches is situated at the front of the Buttery. Baby-changing facilities are also provided.

Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Tea

Our ethos at The Buttery over the last 15 years has been to source the ingredients for the classic dishes and more modern specials of the highest quality.

Opening at 10am The restaurant offers tea and cakes all day, but the best way to really start the day is our full english, served until 11:30.  Salads and Sandwiches are available from 11:00 to 15:00 and hot lunches and specials are served from 12:00 until 15:00  everyday except tuesday.  BREAKFAST MENU

We also serve a fantastic afternoon tea from 14:30, catering for baby showers and hen parties as well as more birthdays and other special occasions. Our high teas can be catered to all dietary requirements and tastes and our guests are free to decorate their tables as the desire for that special event.

The Buttery also caters for private evening parties of 25 people or more, so why not take advantage of our beautiful garden room and enjoy the idyllic country setting for a special birthday or anniversary? (Menus for this is tailored on request)
